Beautiful, healthy hair and a trendy hairstyle are very important, we save a lot of time every day without sparing our time and budget. However, it is not enough to buy the most modern and high-quality hair care products. For beautiful, healthy hair, you should also be aware of the basics of hair care.
Beautiful hair does not require much: regular haircuts every 6-8 weeks, gentle hair washing, and optimal use of hair care treatments and conditioners. Even if we have a good hairbrush and comb, we can’t go wrong.
What is important to know: we can not beautify the condition of our hair from the outside, the right supply of vitamins and nutrients is just as important for beautiful, rich, healthy hair.
The much-debated hair wash
Hairdressers and hairdressers are often asked how often it is ideal to wash their hair and whether washing it daily can be harmful. Like our face and skin, our scalp will be dusty, dirty, sweaty every day.
From the extremely wide selection of shampoos, everyone can find a gentle, pH-neutral, gentle cleansing shampoo that makes daily hair washing no problem. Using a single shampoo or using only a small amount of shampoo (about half a nut) is enough.
Foam the shampoo in the palm of your hand and start shampooing with the ends of the hair, then move towards the scalp. It is important to rinse the shampoo completely, preferably with lukewarm water.
(If you hear a soft, squeaking sound by gently rubbing your hairs together, you can be sure we’ve got rid of all the shampoo residue.)
Put great emphasis on choosing the right shampoo for your hair type or hair problem.
It is best to wash dyed hair with a special shampoo designed for this purpose so that the hair color can remain long-lasting.
Hair rinses, conditioners, hair wraps
The effect of hair rinses and conditioners is not reflected in the nourishment of the hair, but rather in its easy combability. During hair washing, the outer layer of hair (cuticle) of roof tiles becomes coarse.
Hair rinses also protect the hair from the harmful effects of the warm air in the hairdryer as well as the sun’s rays.
Hair wraps and hair treatments are a real pampering for the hair. However, no cure can make split ends healthy, we can only get rid of them by cutting the ends.
There are two types of hair wraps and treatments: one that needs to be washed (“Rinse-Off”) and the other that stays on the hair (“Leave-In”). In both procedures, it is important to apply the wrap to towel-dry hair; in the case of too wet hair, the active ingredients cannot get optimally inside the hair.
It is worth buying the same brand of shampoo, conditioner, and hair wrap, so the treatment program will be complete in terms of active ingredients.
Hairbrush, comb, hairdryer
A cheap plastic comb can do a lot of damage to your hair. Tiny bumps between the teeth of the comb can damage the outer layer of hair. Hard combs made of hard rubber or wood take care of the fine workmanship, so if possible, buy one.
Hairbrushes made from natural materials such as wild boar bristles are the best quality in this sense. When choosing a hairbrush, make sure that the brush has a rounded tip, ie does not damage the scalp. It is important to clean the hairbrushes and combs regularly, otherwise, they will become bacterial colonies.
After washing your hair, do not rub your hair with a towel, just gently squeeze the water out of it and put a towel on it. Wet hair is more vulnerable, so be careful when combing. If you can, do not use a hairdryer, because hot or warm air takes up hair. If we can only use a lukewarm, distant hairdryer after a 10-minute pre-drying in the open air, we’ve already done a lot for the health of our hair.
